Airbnb Pool Turnover Checklist

For vacation rental hosts and cleaners. Use between guest stays to keep the pool safe and clear.

Steps

1. Test water — Check chlorine (1–3 ppm) and pH (7.2–7.6). Use test strips or kit.
2. Adjust chlorine — Add liquid or granular chlorine if low. Use our Pool Chlorine Calculator for your pool size.
3. Clean filter — Skim debris, empty skimmer basket. Backwash or rinse filter if needed.
4. Skim debris — Remove leaves and debris from surface.
5. Confirm safe levels — Re-test after 20–30 minutes. Chlorine and pH must be in range before next guests.
