🎯
Typical Values: Test at minimum twice weekly; record every chemical addition

In Plain Language

A good chemical log records: date and time, all test results (FC, TC, CC, pH, TA, CH, CYA), any chemical additions (product, amount, time), equipment status notes, and any unusual observations. For vacation rentals and commercial pools, logs are a legal protection tool and often a regulatory requirement. Retain logs for at least 3 years.

Why It Matters

Chemical logs provide evidence of responsible pool management and help identify patterns that lead to recurring chemistry problems.
